About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically curious UI/UX & Product Design Intern to join our product and engineering team at our Ahmedabad headquarters. Both 6-month and 12-month internship tenures are available to accommodate university final-year curriculum and industrial training requirements.

In this role, you will work across the complete product lifecycle: from engaging with clients to understand their operational workflows and business requirements, to building reusable design systems, generating high-impact AI visuals and intro videos, and collaborating directly with engineers to ship production-grade enterprise software.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Coordination & Requirement Discovery

• Participate in client coordination meetings to understand operational workflows, business bottlenecks, and user needs across various industries (manufacturing, supply chain, retail, enterprise services).
• Translate complex client requirements and business logic into intuitive user journeys, wireframes, and interactive interface flows.
• Present design concepts, layout rationale, and user journeys clearly to clients and internal stakeholders, gathering constructive feedback and iterating rapidly.

2. Modern UI/UX Design for Web & Mobile Applications

• Design modern, clean, and ergonomic interfaces for cloud ERP modules, executive dashboards, customer portals, and mobile business apps.
• Develop user flows, information architecture, navigation patterns, and responsive mockups that solve complex enterprise problems with simplicity and clarity.
• Ensure designs adapt seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile breakpoints.

3. Scalable Design Systems & Component Architecture

• Build, document, and maintain unified Design Systems using modern component-driven tooling.
• Establish and govern consistent design tokens: 4px/8px spatial grids, responsive typography scales, semantic color palettes (dark-tech, modern clean enterprise, contrast-compliant), elevation levels, and border radiuses.
• Develop comprehensive component libraries with complete interaction states (default, hover, focus, active, loading, disabled, error).
• Ensure visual cohesion across all digital touchpoints, web modules, and mobile applications.

4. Google Stitch & Rapid AI Prototyping

• Utilize Google Stitch for rapid UI prototyping, automated layout generation, and responsive variant exploration.
• Transform conceptual product briefs and design tokens into semantic Stitch layouts, speeding up the feedback loop between design and development.
• Bridge the gap between design prompts, visual tokens, and production-ready frontend code.

5. Generative AI Imagery & Asset Creation

• Leverage modern Generative AI visual tools and prompt workflows to produce bespoke, high-end visual assets, 3D-styled enterprise visuals, hardware renders, and contextual UI backgrounds.
• Maintain prompt engineering discipline, seed consistency, lighting control, and brand color alignment so that all visual assets feel intentional and cohesive.
• Create and curate vector graphics (SVG), custom iconography sets, product badges, data flow diagrams, and marketing graphics.

6. Intro Videos, Motion Design & Product Walkthroughs

• Storyboard, design, and produce engaging product intro videos, feature launch teasers, and software walkthroughs.
• Explore modern motion workflows, code-driven animations, and AI video generation tools (including agentic frameworks like Antigravity or Claude Code for motion generation) to produce dynamic product reels and interface animations.
• Craft kinetic typography and UI micro-interactions that communicate product capability clearly and elevate the brand presence.

7. Design Guidelines & Brand Identity Documentation

• Author clear, actionable Design Guidelines and Visual Identity documentation detailing typography rules, color usage, spacing rhythm, and layout principles.
• Maintain consistent visual standards across websites, mobile apps, marketing materials, documentation, and client presentations.

8. Engineering Handoff & Design QA

• Collaborate directly with frontend engineers, Odoo developers, and product leads to ensure accurate implementation.
• Conduct hands-on design QA on staging builds to identify visual bugs, contrast issues, and layout misalignments before production deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to participate in client coordination, understand business requirements, and articulate design decisions clearly.
• Solid grasp of UI/UX design fundamentals: visual hierarchy, typography, contrast, layout grids, spacing rhythm, and responsive layout principles.
• Understanding of component-driven design systems, auto-layout paradigms, responsive states, and design tokens.
• Hands-on curiosity and practical interest in modern Generative AI image generation and visual asset creation tools.
• Ability to think through end-to-end user journeys, practical usability, and edge cases rather than just surface aesthetics.
• Eagerness to learn new AI-assisted design workflows, agentic coding tools, and technical constraints.

Good-to-Have (Bonus Points)

• Experience or familiarity with Google Stitch (or enthusiasm to learn it rapidly).
• Familiarity or interest in motion design, video walkthroughs, or code-driven animations (e.g. GSAP, CSS animations, AI-assisted video workflows with Antigravity / Claude Code).
• Basic understanding of frontend markup (HTML, CSS/SCSS, Flexbox, Grid) and how visual designs translate into production code.
• Knowledge of mobile design guidelines (Apple Human Interface Guidelines & Google Material Design 3).

Tools & Tech Stack You'll Explore

• UI/UX & Prototyping: Google Stitch, Penpot, modern design system tooling, vector editors
• Generative AI & Visual Media: Modern AI image generation engines, prompt engineering suites, visual model workflows
• Motion & Video: AI-driven motion generation (Antigravity, Claude Code), code-driven animation tools, modern video creation suites
• Graphics & Assets: Vector graphic suites (SVG, Illustrator/Inkscape), iconography managers, image editors
• Collaboration: Notion, Slack, Git/GitHub (basic awareness)

• Duration: 6 Months or 12 Months (flexible options to accommodate university semester and academic requirements).
• Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India (C-508 Dev Aurum, Prahlad Nagar).
• Work Mode: In-Office / On-Site (Remote/WFH is not supported).
• Openings: 2 Positions.
• Eligibility: Students in their final year (B.Des, M.Des, B.Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, or relevant design disciplines) or recent graduates and self-taught designers passionate about UI/UX and modern product design.
