About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious, design-obsessed, and technically curious UI/UX & Product Design Intern to join our product and engineering team at our Ahmedabad headquarters.

This is not a traditional internship where you create static mockups or basic social media graphics. You will work at the cutting edge of modern product design, combining deep UI/UX fundamentals with modern AI-accelerated workflows like Google Stitch and Generative AI media tools (Midjourney, FLUX, Runway, Kling).

You will shape design systems, build interactive prototypes for desktop and mobile platforms, produce high-impact generative visual and video assets, create motion graphics and product intro videos, and establish clear design guidelines across our ecosystem.

What You'll Do

1. UI/UX Design for Web Platforms & Mobile Apps

• Design modern, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces for complex B2B SaaS web applications, ERP dashboards, and client-facing portals.
• Craft native mobile experiences (iOS and Android) with high ergonomic standards, smooth touch interactions, bottom sheets, and streamlined multi-step task flows.
• Conduct user journey mapping, information architecture (IA), low-fidelity wireframing, and interactive high-fidelity clickable prototypes.
• Ensure designs adapt seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile breakpoints.

2. Scalable Design Systems & Component Architecture

• Build, document, and maintain unified Design Systems in Figma and modern tooling.
• Establish and govern strict design tokens: 4px/8px spatial grids, responsive typography scales, semantic color palettes (dark-tech, modern clean enterprise, contrast-compliant), elevation levels, and border radiuses.
• Develop comprehensive Figma component libraries with complete interaction states (default, hover, focus, active, loading, disabled, error).
• Ensure visual cohesion across all digital touchpoints and product modules.

3. Google Stitch & AI-Accelerated Prototyping

• Utilize Google Stitch for rapid UI prototyping, automated layout generation, and responsive variant exploration.
• Transform conceptual product briefs and design tokens into semantic Stitch layouts, speeding up the feedback loop between design and development.
• Bridge the gap between design prompts, visual tokens, and production-ready frontend code.

4. Generative AI Imagery & Asset Creation

• Master generative AI tools (Midjourney, FLUX, Stable Diffusion, DALL-E) to produce bespoke, high-end visual assets, 3D-styled enterprise visuals, hardware renders, and contextual UI backgrounds.
• Maintain prompt engineering discipline, seed consistency, lighting control, and brand color alignment to ensure all AI-generated assets feel intentional and cohesive.
• Create and curate vector graphics (SVG), custom iconography sets, product badges, data flow diagrams, and marketing graphics.

5. Intro Videos, Motion Design & Product Walkthroughs

• Storyboard, design, and produce engaging product intro videos, feature launch teasers, and software walkthroughs.
• Create motion graphics, micro-interactions, animated UI transitions, and kinetic typography that bring static screens to life.
• Work with video editing suites (After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut) and AI video engines (Runway Gen-3, Luma Dream Machine, Kling AI) to produce high-impact reels.

6. Design Guidelines & Brand Identity Documentation

• Author clear, actionable Design Guidelines and Visual Identity Books documenting typography rules, color usage, spacing rhythm, and layout principles.
• Maintain consistent visual standards across websites, mobile apps, marketing decks, documentation, and external presentations.
• Ensure high brand standards across all candidate-facing and client-facing materials.

7. Engineering Handoff & Design QA

• Collaborate directly with frontend engineers, Odoo developers, and product leads to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
• Conduct hands-on design QA on staging builds to identify visual bugs, contrast issues, and layout misalignments before production deployment.

Required Skills

Must-Have

• Strong portfolio or work samples demonstrating UI/UX projects (web interfaces, mobile apps, or design system components).
• High proficiency in Figma (auto-layout, components, variants, variables, prototyping).
• Solid grasp of design fundamentals: visual hierarchy, typography, contrast, layout grids, spacing, and color theory.
• Hands-on curiosity and practical experience with Generative AI image tools (Midjourney, FLUX, or equivalent).
• Ability to think through end-to-end user journeys and edge cases, not just static visual mockups.
• Strong visual communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Eagerness to learn new AI-assisted design workflows, tools, and technical constraints.

Good-to-Have (Bonus Points)

• Experience or familiarity with Google Stitch (or strong interest to learn it rapidly).
• Motion design, video editing, or animation skills (After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or Lottie).
• Experience with AI video generation tools (Runway Gen-3, Luma Dream Machine, Kling AI, Sora).
• Basic understanding of frontend code (HTML, CSS/SCSS, Flexbox, Grid) and how designs translate into code.
• Knowledge of mobile design standards (Apple Human Interface Guidelines & Google Material Design 3).

• Eligibility: Students in their final year (B.Des, M.Des, B.Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, or relevant design disciplines) or recent graduates and self-taught designers with strong design portfolios.
